Chapter 1-6:

1.) What are the settings for the first chapter?

2.) What does Victor mean when he says his fighting uncles had to be in love?

3.) What is the purpose of the skeleton story that Thomas told?

  1. 1.) The setting of the first paragraph was Victor's house.

    2.) Victor meant in order to loathe or hurt a person badly you must first have loved them because you know them and who they are

    3.) The purpose of the skeleton story was that you should not focus too much on the past nor the future but it could influence where you are going and what you are doing now. It was another way to say live for right now.

    5.) The tiny drum is a pager for Victor and every time he tapped it Big Mom, who was dead, would come to him.

    1. 1)the setting for chapter one was victors house, a house party

      2)what he meant was that, people that fight with such anger had to have a lot of feelings for each other that was love and turned in to anger.

      3)you should never care too much for the past or future. you have to go with tempo or else your skeletons will catch up to you.

      4)they were on drugs, and the stories symbolized what their characters were.

      5)the tiny drum is a reminder to victor of where hes from.
